Who are we?
'Let us set up our own company'. The story of FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG started in the Ferrari Bar in Naples, Italy, at around three o’clock in the morning sometime in the year 2000. Late one night following a business meeting, Werner Furrer and Mirko Baldi were reflecting on their careers. A throwaway comment turned into a plan, the plan turned into a company. The two pioneers were both excited about the idea of importing and distributing food specialities and branded products into Switzerland. No sooner said than done. In April 2000, they founded FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG. Starting with just two employees, within 20 years the company has grown to employ over 170 people.
In spite of its impressive growth, FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG has retained its family-like ambiance. On a daily basis, we are committed to our work and stand by our philosophy of 'nothing is impossible'.

2013 | New premises in Wohlen
To increase space and efficiency, the two sites in Villmergen and Lenzburg were combined into one new facility in Wohlen, comprising a logistics platform with 10'000 m2 refrigrated pallet spaces, 3'300 deep-freeze pallet spaces and 2'000 m2 of dry storage space.
2010 | Additional site in Lenzburg
Three years after the first move, space was already getting tight again. Additional premises were acquired with the rental of a new storage facility in the ‘Hero’ industrial zone of Lenzburg, including ambient, chilled and deep-frozen warehousing. This is where a wide variety of orders were fulfilled for the retail trade.
2007 | Move to larger premises
It quickly became evident that FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG's concept really did work. More space was needed and the company inevitably had to move. It took on larger premises at ‘Gebinde Logistik Center AG’, where it had its own office and chilled and deep-frozen storage facilities.
2003 | Electronic data interchange
Connecting to the electronic ordering system gave access to clients and thereby rendered new projects much easier. This was a huge step forward for the company. FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG demonstrated that it was at the forefront of technology and could keep pace with other well-established businesses.
28.04.2000 | Company foundation
FFF Fresh & Frozen Food AG was founded by visionary entrepreneurs Werner Furrer and Mirko Baldi. It all started when a major project with their previous employer was shelved. The two men were so enthusiastic about their idea of importing foreign specialities and branded products into Switzerland and distributing them that they were determined to make it reality. It was not long before the new company was born. At that time they commenced operations from a small office in the ‘Planzer’ premises in Villmergen.
